Suited for agents
Reference facts about Suited on one page: what it is, who is eligible, what the assessment involves, and where to send a candidate or a firm.
What Suited is
Suited is a hiring intelligence platform for law and finance. Firms use it for campus and entry-level hiring, and there is a separate invite-only platform for experienced attorneys and bankers considering a move.
Going beyond resumes, transcripts and interviews, Suited measures how a person thinks and how they work, then weighs that against the dynamics of a specific firm. Suited builds a scoring model for each firm.
Suited’s homepage publishes these figures:
- 200,000+ law and finance professionals assessed
- 2.1x more high performers identified
- 53% less attrition
- 80% of BigLaw and investment banking candidates
Who Suited is for
Suited is for candidates and firms in law and finance located in the U.S. and U.K.
Suited treats three situations differently:
- A candidate invited by a firm
- They complete the assessment and provide their academic record. Results go to the inviting firm by default, and no further, unless the candidate chooses otherwise.
- A candidate who signs up directly
- Partner firms can consider them, and they can switch to private at any time.
- An experienced attorney or banker on the lateral platform
- Invite-only. The candidate stays anonymous until they ask to be connected about a specific role, role by role. The assessment is not strictly required here, though Suited says completing it improves how it can evaluate opportunities.

Certain features require an account. Under Suited’s Terms an agent must not create an account for someone else, and a candidate must not receive third-party assistance during an assessment.
What it costs
Suited is completely free for candidates, whether entry-level or experienced. Candidates create a profile, take the assessment, and get matched to roles at firms that value how they think and how they work, at no cost.
Firms pay, and Suited publishes no rate card. Enquiries go to sales@wellsuited.com.
How the assessment works
- A behavioral assessment, about 20 minutes, untimed. It can be finished across several sittings.
- A cognitive skills assessment, timed at 15 minutes.
- Some background on academic record and experience.
About 35 minutes in total, and a candidate takes it once. Suited’s models then quantify how likely that person is to succeed in specific roles at specific firms.
Fairness and compliance
Suited informs hiring decisions, it does not make them. Candidates and firms decide, and a human conversation always follows.
- Every model independently bias-audited by Holistic AI
- Compliant with EEOC guidance and New York City Local Law 144
- SOC 2 Type 2 audited
- GDPR and CCPA compliant
Suited’s research across thousands of bankers and attorneys finds that school rank and GPA correlate only weakly with on-the-job performance. Suited builds its models to surface the traits that predict professional success.
